Baloise migrates AI solutions to the Insiders Cloud
The insurance company has been using Insiders AI OvAItion for automated document processing for almost 15 years and has now completely migrated the solutions to the Insiders Cloud. This promotes rapid innovation and efficient implementation.
Insiders announces that the insurance company Baloise now obtains all of Insiders‘ AI-supported input management solutions from the Insiders Cloud. By switching from on-premises to the cloud, Baloise IT has been able to increase its efficiency through greater focus, and the company now benefits earlier from Insiders‘ product innovations.
The Swiss insurance group Baloise, headquartered in Basel with subsidiaries in Belgium, Germany, and Luxembourg, has been supporting its customers in financial matters for more than 160 years. Under the premise that “doing nothing is not a solution,” Baloise IT pursues a clear multi-cloud strategy in order to continue to fulfill its role as a driver of innovation within the company in the future. For its own services, it has set up a hybrid cloud consisting of a private cloud and an Azure-based public cloud. This is complemented by cloud offerings from manufacturers such as Insiders Technologies and other business partners that offer SaaS solutions. By using the Insiders Cloud for AI-based input management, Baloise has reached an important milestone in the implementation of its cloud strategy.
Baloise faces the challenge of efficiently processing a high volume of around 140,000 documents per month – some of which comprise up to 1,000 pages – on a daily basis. The documents reach Baloise via various input channels such as paper, email, chat, app, or portals and are distributed across more than 250 document classes.

To master these complex tasks, Baloise has been relying on Insiders Technologies‘ solutions for universal document recognition and reading as well as intelligent invoice management for automated accounts payable for 15 years. Baloise recently launched the new GenerAItor to generate AI services using a no-code process and solve use cases for the specialist departments themselves. All solutions are used as a cloud service from the Insiders Cloud. The modern AI technology OvAItion and the OmnIA platform for intelligent automation offer Baloise maximum precision in classifying and reading documents and enable the implementation of zero-error tolerance.
With Insiders‘ technologies, Baloise can not only increase operational efficiency, but also relieve its employees of routine tasks so that they can focus on their core competencies. With the new Insiders products, business requirements can be implemented three to four times faster, and access to product improvements and innovations for new use cases is significantly accelerated.
