We at Insiders provide students in the Department of Economics at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern with a practical assignment in the field of digital transformation management, which they work on and then present. In addition to theoretical and conceptual analysis, emphasis is placed on applying the material learned in lectures.
The SEP takes place every semester at RPTU Kaiserslautern and is offered alternately by Prof. Ebert and Insiders. During the semester, students develop a multiplayer game with a server and a graphical user interface (GUI). The game varies each semester, but the project requirements remain the same. The project is conducted exclusively using Scrum.
The project takes place during the summer semester at RPTU Kaiserslautern and is aimed at students in the Socioinformatics program. The focus here is on gaining practical experience in software development, project management, and user-centered design in the development of modern web applications. Through this project, we enable students to become more familiar with the agile Scrum framework and thus gain initial insights into our methods, our development process, and our day-to-day work.
The Capstone Project offers RPTU students a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of academia and industry. Together with experts from Insiders Technologies and Fraunhofer IESE, they explore the potential applications of cutting-edge technologies in the field of cognitive process automation, such as generative AI and large language models (LLMs). The close collaboration between the students and the teams at Insiders and IESE creates a learning environment that goes far beyond what traditional university courses can offer.
