Insiders & Fraunhofer IESE: New Capstone Project Launched

Insiders continues its long-standing collaboration with Fraunhofer IESE by launching a new student project, giving Master’s students hands-on experience in the workings of a modern AI company.

With the launch of a new Capstone project, Insiders Technologies and Fraunhofer IESE have once again demonstrated their strong partnership. Over the next three months, international Master’s students will have the opportunity to work closely with the renowned research institute and the globally active company for intelligent process automation on real-world projects, gaining valuable experience for their future careers.

As part of this project, students will take on challenging tasks where they can directly apply their theoretical knowledge to practice. Fraunhofer IESE will handle the methodological part, while Insiders Technologies acts as the client, providing specific assignments and requirements for the students. This allows the young talents to gain realistic insights into modern software development and the operations of a leading AI company.

Hands-On Insights into the World of Artificial Intelligence

The Capstone project offers students a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of academia and industry. Alongside the experts from Insiders Technologies and Fraunhofer IESE, they will explore the application possibilities of cutting-edge technologies in the field of Cognitive Process Automation, such as Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM). The close interaction between the students and the teams from Insiders and IESE creates a learning environment that goes far beyond what traditional university courses can offer.

A special feature of this project is that students are not only working on theoretical scenarios but solving real-world business challenges. They learn how to respond to client demands, work in teams, and grow beyond their existing professional and personal limits. The project puts them in direct contact with the latest technological developments that are shaping the future of the AI industry.

Innovation Culture Through Nurturing Academic Talent

Supporting academic talent is a central part of the innovation culture at Insiders Technologies. The company places great importance on providing students with opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical projects and further develop in a professional environment. Through collaboration with research institutions like Fraunhofer IESE, Insiders offers students a realistic insight into the working world of a modern AI company.

This Capstone project is exemplary of the close cooperation between Insiders and Fraunhofer IESE, which is based on a long-standing partnership. Over the years, this collaboration has produced numerous innovative projects, including the Joint Research & Development Lab, established in 2012, which serves as a model for industry and research partnerships.

The Partnership Between Insiders Technologies and Fraunhofer IESE

For more than a decade, Insiders Technologies and Fraunhofer IESE have been working closely together to jointly develop innovations that shape the future of software development and artificial intelligence. This collaboration is a cornerstone of the Kaiserslautern technology region, which is recognized as a center for research and innovation in the fields of computer science, AI, and software development.

With the kick-off of this new Capstone project, Insiders and Fraunhofer IESE continue their tradition of launching forward-thinking projects while simultaneously fostering the academic talent of tomorrow.
