Cooperation strengthens AI location Koblenz

New location of the leading provider of intelligent automation established in Koblenz. The intensive cooperation with the university aims to promote talent and a stronger exchange through joint projects.

Insiders and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Koblenz have announced a close collaboration. The aim is to establish the new Insiders location in Koblenz, to promote talent in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and to strengthen the joint exchange between science and practice.

Insiders is setting an important milestone with the opening of the location in Koblenz. “Koblenz is an attractive location for innovation and technology, where we find an excellent academic environment and highly qualified young talent. Together with the University of Koblenz, we want to play an active role in shaping the future of AI,” emphasizes Werner Weiss, Managing Director of Insiders Technologies.

Promoting talent and joint projects

A central component of the cooperation is the targeted promotion of talent. Insiders offers students at the University of Koblenz practical insights into the world of AI and cognitive process automation. This includes working student activities and the supervision of final theses.

In addition, joint research projects are planned that focus on topics such as deep learning, natural language processing and intelligent data processing. These projects should not only further strengthen Insiders‘ innovative power, but also provide scientific impetus for the market.

AI Jam and other events as a platform for exchange

Another highlight of the collaboration are workshops such as the recent “AI Jam”, an interdisciplinary event at which students, researchers and Insiders employees develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The workshops are intended to serve as a creative space to test new ideas and bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial practice.

In addition to the AI Jam, regular meet-ups, workshops and guest lectures will be held to promote the exchange of knowledge between the university and companies and further strengthen Koblenz’s attractiveness as an AI location.

Long-term prospects for the AI location Koblenz

The cooperation underlines the joint vision of Insiders Technologies and the University of Koblenz to position the city of Koblenz as a leading location for artificial intelligence and innovation. “The cooperation with Insiders fits very well with the profile development of the Department of Computer Science in terms of data intelligence and also with the recent strengthening of the working groups in the context of artificial intelligence,” explains Prof. Dr. Ralf Lämmel, Dean of Department 4: Computer Science and Head of the Software Languages Research Group at the University of Koblenz.

Ralph Brubach – Head of the new Insiders site in Koblenz – is looking forward to the future collaboration. “Koblenz is a promising location with great AI potential. The close integration of science and business practice is not only a hallmark of Insiders Technologies, but will also bring Koblenz itself forward with targeted innovation,” emphasizes the long-standing IT manager and public sector expert.

With this cooperation, both partners are laying the foundation for sustainable development in the field of AI – and offering talented individuals the opportunity to further develop their skills in a dynamic and future-oriented environment.
