In this Insiders AI Jam, we leverage the power of ChatGPT to classify documents encoun­tered in daily business processes. The special challenge lies in the unknown class dis­tri­bu­tion and diversity of the real-world documents provided, a quality often lacking in tra­di­tional open datasets.

We’ll start by using ChatGPT to embed the documents into deep repre­sen­ta­tions, sub­se­quently clus­te­ring them into potential class pro­to­types. In the next step, ChatGPT assists in sug­gesting appro­priate document class labels.

This two-fold challenge unifies classical machine learning tasks with state-of-the-art capa­bi­li­ties of large language models (LLMs) while offering many creative approa­ches for solving it.
