Since 1998, Insiders Technologies has combined consistent research transfer from the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) with practical software for document-centric business processes. Today, this mission is carried forward by a co-leadership team: company founder Dr. h.c. Werner Weiss and the future sole managing director, Andree Albrecht, are jointly shaping the transition into a new phase—as part of the Proalpha Group and with the goal of continuing to provide customers and partners with reliable, “Made in Germany” AI solutions well into the future.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Werner Weiss studied industrial engineering in Kaiserslautern and Birmingham. After completing his studies, he joined the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Kaiserslautern as a research associate in 1993. There, he initially worked on several projects in the field of knowledge-based document analysis and knowledge management. Werner Weiss played an active role in bringing the smart FIX technology from DFKI into commercial practice and has held a leadership position at Insiders Technologies since 1998, serving as managing director since 1999.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Andree Albrecht joined the Proalpha Group as Sales Director in 2018 and took over as Managing Director of Proalpha’s subsidiary Corporate Planning in 2022, where he was responsible for the company’s strategic development and the data-driven management of client projects. Since June 2026, he has co-led Insiders Technologies alongside founder Werner Weiss and will assume sole management of the company effective October 1, 2026. His focus lies at the intersection of technology, data, and business value—which is precisely where Insiders comes into play with AI-based automation, intelligent platforms such as OmnIA, OvAItion, and GenerAItor, and further integration into the Proalpha Group.
