With its smart ORDER CONFIRMATION product, Insiders is introducing a new addition to its family of AI-powered document processing solutions for the purchase-to-pay process (P2P. The latest Insiders product uses state-of-the-art AI methods for the automated processing, validation, and verification of order confirmations.
smart ORDER CONFIRMATION is the advanced, stand-alone standard product from Insiders for the automated processing of order confirmations. Using state-of-the-art AI techniques, it captures more than 50 header and table fields—such as order numbers, delivery dates, and order quantities— as well as INCO and payment terms with the highest precision, and forwards this data to any downstream systems. Powerful AI algorithms enable the reconciliation of order data using top-down and fuzzy search algorithms. In addition, the extracted data is checked mathematically and logically. In the event that data does need to be validated manually, the solution offers a user-friendly web-based interface that also makes it easy to look up orders or additional information in third-party systems.
Like its sister products—smart INVOICE for invoice processing and smart ORDER for order processing—smart ORDER CONFIRMATION also usestext-based document recognition and is therefore completely layout-independent. Without the hassle of creating templatescreation and time-consuming training, smart ORDER CONFIRMATION recognizes all relevant data at the headerand item levels right out of the box and, using modern AI techniques, responds quickly to changes caused by new formats or suppliers.
In the run-up to its recent general release, the product had already proven itself in practice over several months with selected customers—such as BASF—and efficiently and automatically processed a large number of orderconfirmations efficiently and automatically. smart ORDER CONFIRMATION is now available both on-premises and as a cloud service through Insiders and all Insiders partners.
