At the inco partner 2023 partner conference, the Fritz-Walter Stadium in Kaiserslautern showed a whole new side of itself. Where enthusiastic soccer fans usually flock to the North Hall, the “Insiders Arena” opened its doors on June 14 to Insiders partners—and also impressed them with state-of-the-art, AI-based solutions for automating a wide variety of processes.
Insiders’ Managing Director Werner Weiss and Dr. Alexander Swienty, the new Head of Channel Management, highlighted the trends that will influence and transform process automation in the coming years —and how important it is to embrace change and be willing to adapt. After all, the “Welcome Change” mindset has always been part of Insider’s DNA. Together with their partners, they discussed the challenges in the market and possible strategies for addressing them. Swienty views this approach as “innovation through dialogue.” Weiss added that the goal, however, is not to chasing every trend, but rather about being able to automate customers’ business processes using the technology best suited to each specific use case.
In engaging keynote speeches, high-tech industry expert Dr. Dieter Weißhaar and Pascal Bornet, a globally recognized expert in intelligent automation, the opportunities offered by intelligent process automation. Weißhaar examined trends in the enterprise software market and emphasized that the end-to-end digitization of processes must be followed by their automation. Bornet, who had flown in directly from Silicon Valley, broadened the scope even further and used concrete examples from everyday life and the business world to demonstrate how intelligent automation —which Bornet considers one of the most powerful trends of the decade—drives business forward and can make the world a better place to live.
The various workshops and breakout sessions, which participants explored individually in the Insiders Arena, also provided an opportunity to learn in depth about current challenges surrounding process automation and potential solutions, and to exchange ideas. The focus was on topics such as e-invoicing, innovations in the P2P sector, generative AI, automated communication, and cloud services.
In his presentation on “Cognitive Automation World,” the “ecosystem of the future,” Alexander Swienty concluded by offering an exclusive preview of future offerings.
In addition to industry-specific, pre-trained cloud services, specific services will be made possible in the future that, in the spirit of the low-code/no-code platform concept, allowing users without programming knowledge to create them. This allows customer requests to be implemented with just a few clicks—always available, independent of staff with expert knowledge, and flexible to use: “If you can think it, we can automate it.”
The participating partners also shared this enthusiasm for state-of-the-art process automation and praised the open, flexible concept of the Insiders Arena.
“What I really love about the format of this year’s inco partner is that the workshops and breakout sessions make it very easy to connect directly with the speakers, workshop leaders, and other partners and exchange ideas,” says, for example, Jörn Borgstädt of NTT DATA Business Solutions AG.
Muhammed Al-Khoutani from free-com solutions GmbH in Vienna explains: “It’s always exciting to see the latest developments, the product roadmap, and new technological trends—and also to see where our shared journey is headed overall. Plus, the two-way exchange—from us as partners to Insiders and vice versa. That’s important for us and important for our customers.”
And Serafin Bäbler from SPS Switzerland AG adds: “At today’s event, we really appreciate receiving first-hand information and look forward to everything else coming from Insiders.”
The two keynote speakers, Pascal Bornet and Dieter Weißhaar, also view inco partner 2023 and the presented content positively.
“There’s a great dynamic here—I can really feel the energy of the participants,” says Bornet enthusiastically. “Intelligent automation is about connecting different technologies in such a way that end-to-endend-to-end business processes within companies can be automated. Insiders is already working on implementing the various technological capabilities that make automation possible.”
Keynote speaker Dr. Dieter Weißhaar shares a very similar view: “Great spirit, incredibly positive energy around the topic of digitizing business processes and automation with AI. I’ve met an incredible number of top experts from Insiders here who offer excellent, customer-oriented solutions. I believe that Insiders, on the path it is currently on, is well-equipped for the future.”
Both Bornet and Weißhaar made it clear that Insiders Technologies has everything it needs to scale the automation of business processes. They are convinced that by creating an ecosystem of various technologies that interlock and complement one another, the path will be cleared for Insiders, and thus, of course, also for its customers and partners, the path will be cleared toward hyper-automation, the next step in process automation.
